Mark Fluharty, CIC's Profile and Contact Information

Mark graduated from Boyertown Area High School and attended West Chester University and Ursinus College where he majored in Business Administration and Computer Science.  He was a standout wrestler, qualifying for the PIAA State tournament in 1979, and was a three-year varsity letter winner at Ursinus College. 

Mark entered the insurance business in 1983 with The Metropolitan insurance company, joined Gerhart, Hartman & Ritner in 1984, and became a partner in 1989. Licensed in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states, Mark has in-depth knowledge and expertise in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance, Personal Property & Casualty Insurance, Group Employee Benefits and Individual Life and Health insurance products. He is extremely proud of the development of The Gerhart, Hartman & Ritner Insurance Agency through his leadership.  “We have created a team of professional independent insurance agents that specialize in their respective fields.  We know our business well and are committed protecting our client’s current assets and preserving their future goals and dreams.” 

Mark is married to Adriene Nyce Fluharty and has two daughters, Taylor and Rylee.  He still has a passion for wrestling and has helped guide the Boyertown wrestling program to be among one of the best programs in the state.  Mark is an Active Mason, Perkiomen Lodge #595, and has been a Board Member for several non-profit organizations including the United Way of Boyertown, BAWA, Optimist, and AMBUCS.

Besides work, Mark enjoys fishing, skiing, and socializing with friends and family with an icy mug of good beer.
